Responsible to: Head of Department

Type of Appointment: 3-year contract renewable based on Performance


To support the development, management, and monitoring of undergraduate programs. As a member of the academic team, the post holder will take part in operational, administrative, curriculum development, quality management, and enhancement of programs as required by relevant professional bodies.


  1. Ensure that students are provided with a high quality, relevant and stimulating range of learning opportunities and experience.
  2. Undertake and contribute to research.
  3. Undertake Publication in the areas of specialization.
  4. Be responsible for setting standards and monitoring progress against agreed criteria for area of responsibility.
  5. Mentoring and training of Lecturer and assistant Lecturer in the department.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  

  • Should have teaching experience with a minimum qualification of Master in a relevant field.
  • Should have proven academic ability in research publication and teaching.
  • Should have a minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience, at a recognized academic institution of which three (3) should be at a lecturer level.
  • Should have supervised at least three (3) graduate students to completion.
  • Should have a good track record of service to the public.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy skills.
