King Ceasor University Signs MOU with HESFB to Expand Access to Student Financing

King Ceasor University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Higher Education Students’ Financing Scheme (HESFB) aimed at expanding access to affordable higher education financing for eligible students.The signing ceremony took place on 20th May 2026 at the HESFS Offices, Lourdel Towers, 7th Floor, Kampala.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Ministry by CPA Michael O. Wanyama, Commissioner, representing the Permanent Secretary, while Dr. Charity Basaza Mulenga, Vice Chancellor of King Ceasor University, signed on behalf of the university.
Through this partnership, eligible students will access government-supported loans to cover tuition and functional fees in accredited programmes aligned with national development priorities. The scheme also offers a grace period after graduation before repayment begins, supporting graduates’ transition into employment.
This collaboration reflects King Ceasor University’s commitment to inclusive, accessible and quality higher education in Uganda.
