KCU Hosts Public Lecture on Universal Jurisdiction and Transnational Litigation

King Ceasor University today hosted an insightful public lecture on Universal Jurisdiction and Transnational Litigation, an important and timely discussion for law students, legal practitioners and human rights advocates.

The lecture was delivered by Drusilla Bret Robertson, an international lawyer based in Paris specializing in international law, criminal law and human rights advocacy. Her presentation offered an engaging and practical exploration of how universal jurisdiction is shaping accountability for international crimes across borders.

Drawing on case studies and legal developments from Uganda and neighboring countries, Ms. Robertson highlighted the growing significance of transnational litigation in advancing justice, protecting human rights and strengthening international legal cooperation.

Students and participants appreciated the depth of the discussion and the practical insights shared on international criminal justice and contemporary human rights challenges. The lecture also provided a valuable opportunity for aspiring legal professionals to engage with global legal issues from a regional perspective.

King Ceasor University remains committed to promoting academic excellence and exposing students to distinguished international experts and emerging global legal conversations.
