Guild Leadership Swearing-In Ceremony Held at King Ceasor University

On 15th May 2026, King Ceasor University officially held the swearing-in ceremony for the newly elected guild leadership at the KCU Rooftop. The event brought together students, university management, staff and outgoing student leaders in celebration of a new chapter in student leadership.
Speaking during the ceremony, the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Mr. Ariho, congratulated the newly elected guild leaders and encouraged them to represent students diligently, responsibly, and with integrity.
Outgoing Guild President Mr. Ainebyona Adonia reflected on his leadership journey, highlighting the achievements and challenges experienced during his tenure. He noted that his administration achieved “about 75% success” and encouraged the incoming leaders to remain resilient and focused in serving students. He also emphasized the importance of strengthening communication between students and leadership, supporting student associations and clubs, and promoting research and innovation within the university community.
The ceremony also marked the launch of the Guild Chronicles Magazine, a publication documenting the guild’s experiences, achievements and challenges throughout the term.
Guild President-Elect Mr. Muhoozi Daniel pledged to lead with humility, commitment and dedication while representing the interests of students.Vice Chancellor Dr. Charity Basaza Mulenga appreciated the outgoing guild cabinet for maintaining a positive working relationship with university management and responsibly addressing student concerns. She encouraged the newly elected leaders to continue listening to students and effectively representing their issues to management.
Dr. Charity further urged students to remain focused on academics, avoid examination malpractice and stay mindful of their personal security. She reassured the guild leadership that university management remains open to dialogue and collaboration in addressing student challenges and improving campus life.
The university reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with student leaders in promoting student welfare, academic excellence and a positive university experience for all.
