KCU Conducts Community Outreach at Kigo Prisons

KCU School of Law and Management Sciences carried out a community outreach initiative at Kigo Prisons aimed at supporting inmate welfare, promoting legal awareness, and strengthening community partnerships.
During the outreach, the university donated several essential items to both the male and female prison sections to support the wellbeing of inmates. The initiative reflected the university’s commitment to compassion, service, and social responsibility.
The team also conducted an interactive legal Question and Answer session with inmates. Many participants sought legal advice and assistance regarding their case files, highlighting the need for continued legal awareness and support within correctional facilities.
As part of the event, a tree planting ceremony was held to commemorate the occasion and symbolize the growing partnership between King Ceasor University and Kigo Prisons. The activity emphasized sustainability, growth, and long-term collaboration.
The outreach particularly drew attention to the challenges faced by women and children living in prison environments. The university community expressed its commitment to continuing efforts that bring hope, dignity, and support to vulnerable groups within society.
