Department of Law Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Praxis Conflict Centre

KCU Department of Law signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Praxis Conflict Centre (PCC), a leading institution in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
The partnership establishes a framework for collaboration in ADR education, curriculum development, research, professional training, internships, mentorship, guest lectures and capacity-building initiatives for students and staff. Through this collaboration, the department of Law seeks to strengthen the integration of ADR into legal education while providing students with practical exposure to contemporary dispute resolution practice.
The MoU also provides opportunities for joint research, knowledge exchange, career development and engagement with ADR practitioners, helping bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, representatives from both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to promoting excellence in legal education and advancing peaceful and effective dispute resolution mechanisms.
The Department looks forward to a fruitful partnership that will enhance legal education, professional development and Alternative Dispute Resolution practice for the benefit of students, staff and the wider community.
