Ignite The Future
At KCU, Research Enhancement Program (REP) provides funding for faculty research and creative activities in all disciplines through a peer review process.
KCU REP’s mission is to contribute to the greater body of knowledge in all disciplines through research, scholarship and creative expression. These awards are very useful in piloting research ideas and methodologies, and collecting the data necessary to apply for larger external grants. In recent years, KCU faculty have been successful in receiving awards and we encourage all KCU faculty to consider applying.
The Research Enhancement Initiative at KCU has been guided by research goals which were developed and endorsed by KCU’s Research Advisory Committee. These goals are consistent with the conceptual framework and values the University, which recognize the importance of research and scholarship toward achieving student learning and professional development outcomes.
These goals serve to advance the research and scholarly creativity and productivity of faculty and students, and provide a foundation toward the continued enhancement of a culture of research for all programs of KCU.
At King Ceasor University, we foster an environment where research talent can thrive through a range of initiatives aimed at both students and faculty. Our approach ensures that emerging researchers are equipped with the skills, resources, and opportunities necessary to excel in addressing critical local and global challenges.
The primary purpose of the Research Talent Enhancement Program is to provide seed support so that faculty members and students will be able to compete more successfully for larger research grants from external sources for continuation of their research. The REP provides support for all types of faculty research. All full-time faculty, research faculty, and tenure-track faculty members at KCU are eligible to apply and serve as PI and co-investigators.
Pursue in-depth research at the highest level. Do real-world work in small classes. Collaborate with faculty in ways not possible at other institutions.
